Short Communication: Vascular Degeneration in Parkinson's Disease

Parkinson's disease (PD) is the second most common neurodegenerative condition in the aging human population [1]. While neuronal degeneration is well characterized in human cases of PD [2], there has been very limited information regarding vascular changes, until two recent publications from our own research group [3,4].
