Federal University of São Paulo, Brazil
Dr. Rodrigo da Silva Ferreira obtained his Biological Sciences - Bachelor degree and Masters in Biochemistry from Federal University of Pernambuco, PhD in Sciences (Molecular Biology) from Federal University of São Paulo (Unifesp). He worked with interaction of (glyco)proteins (lectins and glycosaminoglycan-binding proteins) with
ligands by fluorescence, circular dichroism (CD), surface plasmon resonance (SPR), isothermal titration calorimetry (ITC), microscale thermophoresis (MST). He has been working in the Pos-doctoral (Unifesp) with gold nanoparticles: interaction with human proteins, such as carrier of glycosaminoglycan-binding proteins, which acts on the metabolism of cancer.
